What are the UVI Soundcards? The UVI Soundcards are virtual instruments as well as sound extensions for Plugsound Pro and MachFive 2. They are provided with the Universal UVI Player, a stand-alone application as well as a Plugin available in any existing formats: VST (Mac / PC), DXi, AU, RTAS (Mac / PC) and MAS. The Universal UVI Player is Mac Intel compatible. This player is based on the same UVI Engine version as Plugsound Pro and can manage instruments and loops. It includes a preset browser, a loop control section, Audio and Midi Drag & Drop, effects toggling, tempo settings and synchronisation to the host sequencer, polyphony settings, tune and volume knobs, streaming mode and MIDI learn. This player can read all UVI Soundcard sound libraries as well as the Plugsound Pro core library.
